Where will my session take place?

This is up to you! A studio, a hotel, Airbnb or even in the privacy of your own home. Additional fees may apply to on location sessions further then 30 miles from East Bend, North Carolina.

What happens once I arrive for my session?

When you show up to your session, we will take a few mins to talk, look over the outfits you’ve selected and quickly organize a shoot timeline. I will conduct the session in a very professional manner and will instruct every pose and offer direction in facial expressions. So, leave any worries on “what to do” at home.

Do you offer hair and make-up services?

Hair design and makeup artistry services are available for an additional fee to enhance your final product. Let’s face it...we are not all experts in makeup or how to enhance our look while working against strong lights and flashes. Not to worry...we have experts that can help. Our stylists apply your hair and makeup look specific for your photo session to ensure your final product has the WOW factor. Please plan on arriving to your session with clean dry hair and face including no face lotion. It is okay to apply your normal hair products however our stylists reserve the right to reschedule should you not be “styling ready.”

What if I want to hire my own hair and make up artist?

If you choose to not use my hired hair and makeup artists I strongly recommend you have your hair and makeup professional styled for your session. While each women is naturally beautiful, we also know there’s nothing like being spoiled with pampering, primping and a little professional preparation so you feel your most glamorous. For this reason, we only work with the best local artists to make sure you look (and feel) amazing.

Should I tan before my session?

While spray tan or fake tans using a tanning bed prior to your session may bring confidence, please keep in mind that this enhancement may in fact be holding us back. Modern technology gives professionals great tools which make skin tones look their absolutely best. Tanning of any sort in excess may make you appear very orange in your photos. Moderation is key. Be confident in my techniques as they are a much better enhancement choice.

Who will be present during my photo shoot?

The photographer, Brandy Wiles, a professional hair stylist and makeup artist of Brandy’s choosing.

Can I bring someone with me to my shoot?

Absolutely, I will NEVER tell you that you can’t bring someone with you if that makes you feel more comfortable. You are free to bring anyone who you feel may add to the enjoyment of your session but will not distract you or the photographer. If you decide to bring someone, take care to choose a person who has good supportive energy. Please keep in mind that most tend to relax more in front of the camera when there are no observers on the set and this allows us to connect better one on one. This might seem obvious but I’ve seen firsthand how this can impact the set in a negative way. I’ve also seen how it can impact the set in a positive way. If you can see yourself practicing your best face in front of your friend, then great! If not then you may want to save the sharing to when you show off your amazing photos.

Children or anyone under the age of 18 are NOT permitted to ANY boudoir sessions.

I am nervous, what should I do?

Truth is that everyone’s a little nervous at first. But I promise you will have a good time, and by the end of your boudoir session, you’ll feel amazing. I will guide you every step of the way. I will pose you from head to toe, coaching you through your facial expressions, and showing you exactly what to do. It’s fun - and you will love your images!

What do I need to bring to my session?

You will need to bring several outfits. The amount of changes you should bring depends on the package you selected. A typical shoot, we will Photograph roughly 1-2 outfits as part of your set. Most of our photo shoots usually have a implied nude part where you obviously will won’t need a full outfit. If you choose not to have any implied nude images please bring 2-3 outfits to bridge the gap. I always advise to bring more than you think and then I can assist you with final selection before your session begins. Items not to forget would be shoes and jewelry as they help your “look” to be more complete. I always encourage items from your home that you may want to incorporate into your shoot to give it a more personal touch.

What style lingerie should I buy/bring for my session?

This will depend on your specific body type. I have put together a nice PDF article to help accentuate your strengths and downplay your sensitive areas that will be emailed to you once your session has been booked.. If you are still having trouble I’d be happy to assist you please contact me to discuss.

Can I do any shots topless or nude?

We permit topless photography however we do not offer sessions involving complete nudity or “bottomless”. We can provide creative posing implying nudity. It is a policy that I am not willing to compromise.

I have imperfections, can you make me look good?

Yes! None of us have a perfect body. I will guide and pose you in a way that is flattering for you, and I also enhance your boudoir images with the best editing tools. In editing, I will be removing flaws, removing all those dots and dimples. I will NOT photoshop any images. However, I will make sure to get the right poses, angles and light while it shoot so that it’s the best version of you. And guess what, you will be amazed!

Do you edit all of the photos or will this be done by a third party?

I absolutely will NOT outsource the editing of your images. Only I will view and edit your images.

Will you share my photos on your website/social media?

While I greatly appreciate all the women that allow me to share their images publicly, I will NEVER require that you do so (unless you have been chosen for a model call). Choosing to share your images helps other women do as you did and gives others the confidence to do sessions of their own. I would love to share your beautiful portraits on my website or PRIVATE (female only) Facebook group, but I will only share if you consent. Otherwise, they are for your eyes only. I understand these photos are very personal and most people want them to be kept private. Taking into consideration, I will usually only choose to share photos that don’t show your face for my marketing purposes, unless you tell me otherwise. I take confidentiality and your privacy very seriously, and images are secure and only displayed with permission. If you’re not quite sure if you want to share or not and want to preview your images first, we can totally do that as well.

Do you take shot requests?

Yes! If you have seen an image that resonates with you, make sure to note these images for your session and I will do my best to capture the same style/look that is best for your session. Every woman is unique and requires special posing for her unique body type. I can not guarantee any requested shots.

Can I snap a few pictures with my camera or phone?

I do NOT allow ANY personal photography during your session including but not limited to digital cameras, cell phone cameras and video. Violators will be asked to leave immediately and will forfeit ALL deposits, payments, certificates, and coupons. Rescheduling your session will be at the photographers consideration only.

How long will it take to receive my images?

Your private online viewing gallery will be available within 14 business days of your session (rush accommodations can be made). Once your favorite images from your session are selected they will be available for download within 7 business days from date of selection.

Can I purchase more digital images then my package states?

Finished, high resolution, digital files are available individually or at a discounted rate for bulk purchases and full gallery purchases. All digital images come with copywrite release form for printing and web use. Pricing varies based on package selected.

What is your rescheduling and refund policy?

All deposits and payments are non-refundable. This guarantees that your reservation is held just for you.
